Advertisers are asked to note that, because of difficulties caused by the date of Easter, the final Gazette of term will be published a day earlier than usual, on Wednesday, 19 March. The deadline for receipt of advertisements will be midday on Monday, 10 March.

The usual deadline (midday on the preceding Thursday) will apply to the Gazettes published up to and including 13 March, and again from the first Gazette of Trinity Term, published on 17 April.

W.G. Hoskins Centenary Conference, Christ Church, Sat. 12 Apr. This day-conference will mark the centenary of the birth of W.G. Hoskins, widely acknowledged as one of the greatest historians of the 20th century, by examining his relationship to that century. Oxford University Newcomers' Club has moved to the University Club, 11 Mansfield Rd, Oxford OX1 3SZ.
