Volunteer Guides Required
The Bodleian Library offers local, national and foreign visitors the opportunity to learn more about the historic buildings that form the heart of the University and about the history of the Library's collections from medieval times up to the present day. We have more than 200,000 visitors each year for whom we provide a range of guided tours and information. For nearly 20 years, these tours have been conducted by a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers. We are currently looking to increase our team of Volunteer Guides and are seeking people with an ability and desire to communicate to visitors accurate information in a clear, friendly manner. Oxford University Newcomers' Club has moved to the University Club, 11 Mansfield Rd, Oxford OX1 3SZ.
