Changes in Regulations

With the approval, where applicable, of the Educational Policy and Standards Committee of Council, and of the Humanities Board, the following changes in regulations made by the Board of the Faculty of History will come into effect on 20 June.

Preliminary Examination for History of Art

With effect from 1 October 2008 (for first examination in 2009)

In Examination Regulations, 2007, p. 132, ll. 22–9, delete 'A list of suitable objects ... first tutorial with the candidate.' and substitute:

'A list of potential extended essay advisers will be presented to the candidates at the beginning of the academic year. A candidate may propose to study any object, but this object must be approved by the appointed extended essay adviser, and the Preliminary Extended Essay Co-ordinator.'
