Area Studies
Sasakawa Fund ScholarshipThe scholarships are open to Japanese nationals for study in any subject area or alternatively to students from countries other than Japan (including the UK) whose course at Oxford University requires some period of study in Japan. Candidates must be starting a graduate degree in October 2008 or be currently undertaking such a course. Two awards will be available of a value of up to £5,000. Awards will be made for one year in the first instance, and may be renewed for a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory progress. Applicants from outside the UK should complete the funding sections of the graduate admissions form. You must submit this form in the first or second or third gathered field.
