Albert and Rachel Lehmann Graduate Studentship in Jewish History and CultureIf a suitable candidate presents him or herself, an election will be made to the Lehmann Studentship in Jewish History and Culture with effect from 1 October 2008. The award is intended for any new graduate student pursuing research or higher study in the field of Jewish Studies, specifically in early modern and modern western European history and /or culture, and is open to anyone applying for the MSt in Oriental Studies, the MSt in History, or for a research degree leading to a doctorate. An application form and further details (which prospective applicants must consult before they apply) will be available from the 'Grants, Scholarships and Prizes' section of the Oriental Studies Web site www.orinst.ox.ac.uk in due course. Applications should be sent to the Secretary for the Unit for Hebrew and Jewish Studies, the Oriental Institute, Pusey Lane, Oxford OX1 2LE, no later than Friday 16 May, 2008. A separate application to the University for a place for graduate study is required.
