University Dyslexia (Specific Learning Difficulties) Fund

Students with dyslexia or another specific learning difficulty may be asked to obtain an educational psychologist's report in order to qualify for exam concessions or as evidence to their local education authority for Disabled Students' Allowance. An educational psychologist's report typically costs about £400. The Dyslexia (SpLD) Fund will meet the full cost of this provided that:

• the report is obtained from a psychologist approved by the Proctors, and
• the student takes up his or her place at the University.

Current and prospective students, both graduate and undergraduate, should apply to the Disability Office for confirmation of eligibility and a list of approved psychologists by e-mail to: disability@admin.ox.ac.uk
