Sarah J. Clackson Coptic Fund

The late Sarah J. Clackson donated a large body of research materials in Coptic to the Griffith Institute in the University of Oxford, and a fund was established in her memory to support research in the fields to which these materials relate. The fund, administered by the Faculty of Oriental Studies, provides travel and research grants to anyone undertaking work on Coptic manuscripts, especially those for which there is documentation in the Clackson bequest, including the viewing, preparation, and recording of material, but excluding conservation.

Applications should be made using the application form for a travel, research or language study grant from a trust fund in the Faculty of Oriental Studies, available to download from the 'Grants, Scholarships and Prizes' section of the faculty Web site, and should be submitted with a brief curriculum vitae. Applications should normally be submitted by the end of January, April, or October in any year.
