Jill Hart Fund for Indo-Iranian Philology

A fund exists in the Faculty of Oriental Studies to support elementary language teaching and learning, and philological teaching and study, of Vedic Sanskrit and of the languages belonging to the Iranian branch of Indo- European at their earliest attested stages; and to support the study of the early linguistic history and prehistory of the Indo-Iranian language family.

Applications should be made using the application form for a travel, research or language study grant from a trust fund in the Faculty of Oriental Studies, available to download from the 'Grants, Scholarships and Prizes' section of the faculty Web site www.orinst.ox.ac.uk, and an application may be submitted at any time.
