NOTICE

Green College: Open Day

Green College will be opening its gates on Sunday, 9 September, 12.30–4.30 p.m., in association with the Heritage Open Days scheme. p Visitors can join tours of the garden by the college gardener, Mr Michael Pirie, and will also be able to visit the Observatory. Presentations on the history of the Observatory will be given by Professor Jeffery Burley, Development Fellow of Green College, and Mr Charles Barclay, Director of the Marlborough College Blackett Observatory. Refreshment and souvenirs will be on sale, with all proceeds going towards the Observatory fund to assist with continuing conservation.
