CONGREGATION 13 June 2006

Legislative Proposal: Dissolution of the Life and Environmental Sciences Division and renaming of the Mathematical and Physical Sciences Division

When changes to sections 1 and 2 (and subsequent section renumbering) of Statute VII were proposed and declared approved on 15 June 2006 (Gazette, Vol. 136, p. 1240) sections 6, 8 and 10 should also have been amended to reflect that renumbering. Section 6 should now read:

'6. Faculties shall be allocated to divisions by regulations made under section 2 of this statute.'

Section 8 should now read:

'8. The relevant divisional board shall determine the faculty or faculties of which those qualified under section 7 (1) and (2) of this statute shall be members.'

Section 10 should now read:

'10. If a divisional board divides a faculty into sub-faculties under section 9 of this statute, it shall determine the sub-faculty or sub-faculties to which each member of the faculty shall be allocated.'
