University Counselling Service
The University Counselling Service will be open 9.30 a.m.–1.30 p.m. from Monday, 19 March (week 10) until Wednesday, 4 April (week 12), inclusive. The service will close for the Easter vacation from Thursday, 5 April until Friday 13 April inclusive, and will reopen on Monday, 16 April (noughth week), when the opening hours will be 9.15 a.m.–5.15 p.m. as usual.
Unless otherwise indicated, the following organ recitals will be given at 1.10 p.m. on Wednesdays in the chapel, Queen's College. Admission is free, with a retiring collection.
Further recitals in the Buxtehude and Mendelssohn series will be held on 12, 19, and 26 July at 6.15 p.m.

Professorship of Microbiology
STEPHEN DAVID BELL, B.SC PH.D Glas, Programme Leader, MRC Cancer Cell Unit, Cambridge, has been appointed to the professorship with effect from 1 September 2007.
Dr Bell will be a fellow of Wadham College.
