COUNCIL OF THE UNIVERSITY1 Changes in RegulationsCouncil has made the following changes in regulations, to come into effect on 6 April. Regulations relating to Academic Services and University Collections1 In Council Regulations 15 of 2002 concerning Committees Reporting Directly to Council or One of its Main Committees (Supplement (2) to Gazette No. 4628, 26 June 2002, as amended on 1 May 2003, 2 October 2003, 17 November 2005 and 23 March 2006) delete existing regulation 3.47.(1) and substitute: '3.47. The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Committee shall consist of: (1) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections);'. 2 In Council Regulations 15 of 2002 concerning Committees Reporting Directly to Council or One of its Main Committees (Supplement (2) to Gazette No. 4628, 26 June 2002, as amended on 22 May 2003, 17 November 2005 and 23 March 2006) delete existing regulation 3.67(1) and substitute: '3.67. The Curators of the University Libraries shall consist of: (1) the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections), who shall be chairman;'. 3 In Council Regulations 45 of 2002 concerning the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology (Gazette, Vol. 133, p. 512, as amended on 22 January 2004, 17 November 2005, and 4 May 2006) delete existing regulation 2.(1)(b) and substitute: '2.(1)(b) the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections);'. 4 In Council Regulations 3 of 2003 concerning the Botanic Garden (Gazette, Vol. 134, p. 351, as amended on 17 November 2005) delete existing regulation 2.(2) and substitute: '2.(2) the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections);'. 5 In Council Regulations 5 of 2003 concerning the Museum of the History of Science (Gazette, Vol. 134, p. 138, as amended on 5 May 2005 and 17 November 2005), delete existing regulation 2.(3) and substitute: '2.(3) the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections);'. 6 In Council Regulations 48 of 2002 concerning the Oxford University Museum of Natural History (Gazette, Vol. 133, p. 513, as amended on 13 October 2005, 17 November 2005 and 4 May 2006) delete existing regulation 2.(3) and substitute: '2.(3) the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections);'. 7 In Council Regulations 49 of 2002 concerning the Pitt Rivers Museum (Gazette, Vol. 133, p. 514, as amended on 17 November 2005 and 4 May 2006) delete existing regulation 3.(3) and substitute: '3.(3) the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections);'. 8 In Council Regulations 2 of 2004, concerning Other University Bodies (Supplement (2) to Gazette No. 4702, 30 June 2004, p. 1237, as amended on 21 October 2004, 28 April 2005, 17 November 2005, 12 January 2006, 4 May 2006, 21 September 2006 and 11 January 2007), in Part 1 delete existing regulation 1.2.(2) and substitute: '1.2.(2) the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections), if he or she is not otherwise a member of the committee;'. [These changes amend various regulations relating to ASUC committees following the end of the arrangement under which the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Planning and Resources) was covering the ASUC portfolio in order to make reference to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections), whose remit now includes responsibility for that portfolio.]
