CONSULTATIVE NOTICEReview of the Language CentreAs part of the University's programme of regular departmental reviews, the Language Centre will be reviewed during Hilary Term by a panel chaired by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections). The panel's terms of reference are: To review and report on: (a) the development of the Language Centre since the 2001 review; (b) the quality and effectiveness of the centre's courses as benchmarked against best international standards; (c) any significant changes in context or demand since the 2001 review, including under the former the implications for the centre of the University's Corporate Plan and Academic Strategy; (d) the adequacy of the resources available to the centre; and, in the light of the above, on the role, priorities and future direction of the centre over the next six years. Anyone wishing to make a submission to the review panel should send it by 9 February to Mr L.C.C.
