Prizes, Grants, and Funding
Applications are invited by Friday, 29 June, for grants from the Ghazarian Fund, generously established by Professor Jacob Ghazarian to support research in the History and Culture of Christianity in the Mediterranean Basin 400–1500 ad. Grants of up to £500 to support fieldwork or for other academic purposes are available. Grants shall normally be made to graduate students but may, at the discretion of the committee, be made to any Oxford student or scholar in the field.
Those who apply for grants should provide a letter of application explaining the purpose to which the funds will be put, a brief curriculum vitae, a letter of reference (in the case of graduate applicants, normally from their supervisor), details of the full cost of the project, and details of any other applications made for funds, or grants already received, for the project.
