1 Declaration of approval of Legislative Proposals

No notice of opposition having been given, Mr Vice-Chancellor declared the Statutes (1) concerning the John Wilfred Jenkinson Memorial Lecturership, and (2) amending Statute IX: Officers of the University (p. 5) approved.

2 Declaration of approval of Resolution authorising expenditure from the Higher Studies Fund

That the University be authorised to expend from that part of the Higher Studies Fund earmarked for Social Studies the sum of £60k to be paid over two years from 1 October 2006 to provide research support for the Professor-elect of European Archaeology.
