Waynflete Professorship of Physiology
GERO MIESENBÖCK, MD Innsbruck, Associate Professor of Cell Biology, Associate Professor of Cellular and Molecular Physiology, Yale University School of Medicine, has been appointed to the professorship with effect from 1 July 2007.
Professor Miesenböck will be a fellow of Magdalen College.
Conferments of the Title of Visiting Professor
On the recommendation of the Department of Social Policy and Social Work, the Social Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor on PROFESSOR J.R. BRADSHAW, CBE; BSS, MA Dub; D.PHIL York, for three years from 1 January 2007.
On the recommendation of the Saïd Business School, the Social Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor in Finance on PROFESSOR THOMAS NOE, MBA, PH.D Texas, for Hilary Term and Trinity Term 2007.
