GENERAL NOTICESOxford University Library Services: temporary closure of the Radcliffe Science LibraryThe Radcliffe Science Library will be closed temporarily to allow building work to take place. Temporary accommodation will be erected on the RSL forecourt during the period 12 March to 1 April. In the first phase of the work, the Entrance Hall staff and services, the Administration section and other senior staff will be relocated. Severe disruption is expected during this period and the library will close for the three days 2–4 April. From 12 March until the completion of the work there will be no parking on the RSL forecourt, apart from designated places for the Natural History Museum and Occupational Health. Regular updates and any changes to these dates will be posted on the RSL website (http://www.ouls.ox.ac.uk/rsl). Readers should check first before visiting during this period. The RSL will continue to answer email and telephone enquiries. A further notice providing more detailed information about operations during the construction period will be issued shortly. The inconvenience to readers caused by this and future disruptions connected with the building work is regretted, but the project will result in a new science library for Oxford providing improved services and many benefits for readers.
