University Gazette, 8 March 2007: Prizes, Grants, and Funding St Hugh's CollegeColin Matthew FundTravel awards for historical research Applications are invited for small grants to support travel for the purposes of research. The grants are intended to support research for a thesis on an historical topic: applicants must be student members of the University, and may be undergraduate or graduate students. The Committee for the Fund hopes to make a number of awards up to a total value of £1,000: the maximum value of an individual award will be £500. Application forms may be obtained by e-mailing Catherine.Barton@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk. Completed forms must be submitted by Friday of Fourth Week of Trinity Term, 18 May. Applicants are asked to ensure that their tutor or supervisor writes a letter in support of their application by the same date. Applications and letters of support should be addressed to the Bursar's Secretary, St Hugh's College, Oxford 0X2 6LE. Applicants will be informed of the outcome before the end of Trinity Term.
