Scholarships and Prizes 2006: Hardship


Undergraduates, in their first, second, third or fourth year of study, and students in the first year of the graduate entry medical course, who are paying £3,000 tuition fees and who are receiving both maintenance and tuition fee support, and whose household income is assessed to be less than £37,425, are eligible to receive an Oxford Opportunity Bursary. Each bursary is worth between £100 and £3,000 in each year of study (up to £4,000 in the first year). PGCE students whose household income is below £26,500 are eligible for a bursary worth between £100 and £1,500. Students who are eligible for an Oxford Opportunity Bursary and who have not received a letter from the Student Funding and Access Office should enquire at their college for further information. (Note that students with a deferred entry place to start in 2006 are not eligible for an Oxford Opportunity Bursary; please refer to Oxford Bursaries.)
