International Gender Studies Centre: relocationThe International Gender Studies Centre (formerly CCCRW, Queen Elizabeth House), has moved to 42 St Giles'.
The Centre's tradition of Thursday (2 p.m.) seminars continues, with the venue for
seminars now located in the new Queen Elizabeth House main site in Mansfield Road (in the
former Geography building).
Conferment of the title of Visiting ProfessorThe Medical Sciences Board has conferred the title of Visiting Professor of Paediatric Molecular Genetics on A. HARRIS, MA (PH.D. London), for a period of three years from 1 November 2005. Professor Harris was recently appointed George and Valerie Kennedy Professor in Human Genetics, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago.
Reconferment of the title of Visiting ProfessorThe Mathematical and Physical Sciences Board has reconferred the title of Visiting Professor of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry on DR JEFFREY PENFOLD, ISIS Facility, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, CLRC, for a period of three years from 1 October 2005.
Oxford University Museum of Natural HistoryThe Visitors of the Oxford University Museum of Natural History have appointed DAVID J. ROGERS, MA, D.PHIL., Professor of Ecology and Fellow of Green College, as Curator of the Entomological Collections from 1 October 2005.
