ASHMOLEAN MUSEUM
Appointment of Head of Human ResourcesThis is a new, senior role within a newly-created HR team in the Ashmolean Museum. The post-holder will be responsible for delivering all aspects of HR services, including development of strategy and development and implementation of core HR policies and processes, within a context of change management.Other responsibilities include the design and implementation of: training and development strategy; effective performance management policy; and compensation and benefits strategy. Effective leadership and communication are essential, as are analytical thinking and problem-solving and organisational skills. Applicants should be CIPD qualified and have experience in change management. At least three years' experience in the field is desirable, and work in the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage. This post is offered initially on a five-year fixed-term contract, which will be subject to review at an appropriate point, on the academic-related administrative grade 3 scale (salary £31,274£36,959 per annum).
