Scholarships and Prizes 2005:
THOMAS DUFF FUND
Book grants are available to graduates of African Universities who are nationals of sub-Saharan Africa and who have been accepted as members of the University to engage in advanced study or research for the Degree of Master or Science or Doctor of Philosophy (or for another course of study approved for this purpose by the Board of Management of the Trapnell Fund) in the field of forestry.
Those who are eligible may apply for grants to be used to purchase books. It is intended that books purchased should be for the use of the students concerned while they are in Oxford and that they should be deposited in the library of the students' home universities or employing institutions on return.
Completed application forms should be sent to the LES Divisional Office, to arrive by the end of week one of Hilary Term.
Application forms are available from The Secretary to the Trapnell Fund, the Life and Environmental Sciences Divisional Office, 9 Parks Road, telephone (2)82464 or e-mail: email@example.com
