Scholarships and Prizes 2005:
THEOLOGY GRADUATE STUDENTSHIPS 20067
Acting in conjunction with the Hall-Houghton Trustees, the Grinfield Trustees and the Trustees of the Denyer and Johnson Fund, and the Faculty's Graduate Studentship Scheme, the Board of the Faculty of Theology proposes to award a limited number of graduate studentships, tenable from Michaelmas Term 2006. Graduate studentships may be tenable with a studentship at a college. The amount of the awards will be decided by the Theology Studentships' Committee.
Under the terms of the various trusts, it is likely that at least one studentship will be awarded in the field of the New Testament, and at least one studentship will be awarded in the field of the Septuagint (including its relevance for the study of the New Testament).
Applications are invited from graduates reading for higher degrees under the Board of the Faculty of Theology, and from applicants for admission to the status either of Probationer Research Student or Registered Master of Philosophy Student from Michaelmas Term 2006.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 9 January 2006. Further details may be obtained from Mrs E. Macallister, Humanities Division, 34 St Giles', Oxford OX1 3LH (telephone: (2)70117 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org).
