Scholarships and Prizes 2005: Music

JOHN BETTS TRAVELLING SCHOLARSHIPS

Applications are invited for John Betts Travelling Scholarships to assist graduate and undergraduate members of the University, without limitation of academic subject, with the costs of visits to particular places to see organs or libraries, or to obtain source materials related to the study of the organ, such as microfilms. The Fund was established to commemorate the activities of the late Mr John Betts as a builder and restorer of organs.

The awards will normally be up to £200 and an application may be made at any time. Application forms are available from the Faculty Administrator and Board Secretary, Faculty of Music, St Aldate's, Oxford OX1 1DB.
