GEOFFREY HILL SPRAY PRIZE IN CLINICAL BIOCHEMISTRY 2006

This prize is open to clinical students working in Oxford in the second or third year of the course leading to the Second BM Examination. Students may seek approval for their proposed subject in their first year but may not submit an essay until at least their second year. The prize will be awarded (provided that candidates of sufficient merit present themselves) for an essay on biochemistry as related to pathogenesis, prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of disease in man.

Intending candidates should first submit to the Medical School Offices, John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington, Oxford OX3 9DU, with a nom-de-plume, the title of their proposed essay together with a brief statement (10–20 lines) of how they envisage treating the subject for prior approval by the judges.

The closing date for submitting the proposed title is Friday, 25 November 2005. The closing date for submitting the essay is Friday, 9 June 2006.
