Directorship of the Accelerated Graduate-entry Medical Course (part-time)

This new post, available from mid-September 2005, or as soon as possible thereafter, offers a challenging opportunity for an experienced medical education professional. The Director will be responsible for leading, planning, and co-ordinating the University's Graduate-entry Medical Course, which is now in its fourth year. There are no teaching or research responsibilities attached to this post, and this appointment will be for three years. The Director will be supported in the post by a Deputy Director (0.5 FTE ) and by a full time Course Administrator.

The post will be part-time (0.5 FTE), on the ALC4 scale (salary £32,666--£39,114, pro rata). Applicants currently holding a University or NHS appointment will be considered and would be paid via a `buy-out' arrangement of their current salary scale.
