PROFESSORSHIP OF COMPUTING SCIENCEApplications are invited for the above professorship, tenable from as early a date as possible. A non-stipendiary fellowship at St Anne's College is attached to the professorship. The Professorship of Computing Science is located in the Computing Laboratory at Oxford. The University seeks to appoint a scientist of international distinction who will encourage the pursuit of excellence in this rapidly expanding field through teaching and through his or her own research which will be recognised internationally. It is expected that the new professor will make a full contribution to the department's teaching programme and to its expanding doctoral programme, and will provide research leadership in his or her field.
