ConcertTHE CHOIR OF QUEEN'S COLLEGE will give a concert at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, 9 June. Music by Britten, Leighton, and Messiaen will be performed in the chapel, followed by madrigals and part-songs in the Fellows' Garden. APPOINTMENTDR JULIE MAXTON (LL.B. London, LL.M. Canterbury, PH.D. Auckland), Professor and Dean of Law, University of Auckland, has been appointed to the post of Registrar of the University.
Dr Maxton will take up the post on 1 February 2006. There will be a period of overlap with
Mr David Holmes, before his retirement at Easter 2006.
