MEYERSTEIN RESEARCH AWARDS FOR ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH 2004

The School of Archaeology gives notice that it is offering in Hilary Term 2004 Meyerstein Awards for Archaeological Research.

Candidates must be members of the University. Application forms may be obtained from the Administrator, School of Archaeology, 36 Beaumont Street, Oxford OX1 2PG. Six copies of applications (which should be accompanied by a letter of support from the candidate's supervisor) should be returned to the Administrator at the Institute on or before 31 December 2003, stating:

(i) the applicant's name, status, and college;

(ii) the intended course of research;

(iii) the specific purpose for which the award is required;

(iv) the amount required;

(v) details of other financial resources, obtained or applied for.

Applications from undergraduates will be considered only for work to be undertaken after graduation.

Meyerstein Awards will be announced in January 2004. Applications for emergency awards may, however, be considered at other times.
