Scholarships and Prizes 2002: Mathematics, Computation,
and Statistics
JUNIOR MATHEMATICAL PRIZES
Not more than four prizes, each of a value not exceeding £200, may be
awarded each year, if
candidates submit work of sufficient merit. One prize may be awarded by the examiners in
the Honour School of
Mathematics, two prizes may be awarded by the examiners in the Honour School of
Mathematical Sciences, and one
prize may be awarded by the mathematical examiners in the Honour School of Mathematics
and Computation for
outstanding performance in the mathematical papers. The value of the prizes within the above
limits will be
determined by the examiners. No special application is required.
