GLADSTONE MEMORIAL ESSAY PRIZE

The prize is awarded for a thesis on some subject connected with recent British History, Political Science, or Economics, or with some problem of British policy— domestic, imperial, or foreign—in relation to finance or other matters, submitted for the Honour Schools of Modern History, Modern History and Economics, and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

The prize is traditionally linked with Gladstone and Gladstonian Studies. The value is £500. For detailed information consult the relevant Honour School regulations in Examination Regulations.
