UNIVERSITY DYSLEXIA FUND

The University has a fund to support matriculated students who are dyslexic. The fund is administered by the funds panel of the Advisory Panel on Disability. Wherever possible, this Advisory Panel on Disability includes at least one disabled person, the chairman of the Advisory Panel on Disability and two other nominated committee members, one of whom is a student.

Grants will be made at the discretion of the panel and will be awarded for help towards the cost of undergoing a formal chartered psychologist's assessment and towards the costs of specialist dyslexia tuition support. Applications in retrospect will not be considered. The panel will encourage an applicant's college to match grants from the fund.

Enquiries regarding eligibility conditions and the application process should be made to the Disability Adviser, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD (telephone: (2)80562).
