ST ANTONY'S COLLEGE

Alistair Horne Fellowship

The Alistair Horne Fellowship provides membership of St Antony's College and limited financial assistance to a candidate who is researching or writing a significant book on a topic of modern history. Young historians and first authors are encouraged to apply.

The fellowship carries a research grant which is in the order of £6,000, for the year. As a Senior Member of St Antony's College, the fellow is entitled to use the college library and research centres, and is encouraged to play a full part in the college's academic and social life, as well as that of the University as a whole.

The fellow for the academic year 2002–3 will be elected early in 2002. Applications should include a curriculum vitae, a description of the proposed book, an indication of the author's plans for the year, and the names of two referees and should be sent to the Warden, St Antony's College, Oxford OX2 6JF, to arrive not later than 1 November.
