MATHEMATICAL AND PHYSICAL SCIENCES BOARD

Reconferments of title

The Mathematical and Physical Sciences Board has reconferred the title of Visiting Professor in the Principles of Engineering Design upon DR R.D. LOHR (B.SC. Kingston, PH.D. Bristol), for a further period of five years from 1 January 2002.

The Board has also reconferred the title of Visiting Professor in Physics upon professor J.G. RARITY (B.SC. Kingston, PH.D. Bristol), for a further period of five years from 1 January 2002.

SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE M.SC. IN MATHEMATICS AND THE FOUNDATIONS OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

The Supervisory Committee has approved the following additional course for the M.Sc. in Mathematics and the Foundations of Computer Science for the academic year 2001–2:

This will be a reading course, offered in Trinity Term.
