ST PETER'S COLLEGE

College Teaching Fellowship in Economics

St Peter's College wishes to appoint a Supernumerary Fellow and Tutor in Economics for a fixed term of three years from 1 October 2002. The fellow will be required to contribute to the teaching of Economics core and option papers for PPE and other undergraduate degrees which include Economics.

He or she will also help to arrange teaching for, and/or teach, a number of Visiting Students admitted under the University's official programme, and may be asked to act as college adviser to graduate students reading for degrees in economics and related disciplines. The person appointed will be required to provide an average of twelve hours' teaching per week during the three full terms (each lasting eight weeks) of the academic year. In addition s/he will be expected to participate in admissions procedures, and generally share the administration, including pastoral care and the setting and marking of college examinations, of Economics undergraduates in the college. A teaching room will be provided.

Remuneration will be within the scale £2,0267–£24,193 per annum. Fellows have senior common room rights, including an entitlement to free meals in term and most of the vacation.
