New Treatment for Diabetes

We are looking for people with diabetes to take part in a research study at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford. You must not be taking tablets or injections for the diabetes itself. The study would involve several visits to the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford, and taking a new tablet to treat diabetes. Oxford University Museum of Natural History Shop

With the BGWPY exhibition running until Sun., 4 March, stocks are in hand of the striking range of newly issued postcards (35p; set of 12, £3.50), the exhibition Portfolio (£2) and the collectable, hardback Portfolio 10(£25) which contains all the winning and commended entries. And, heralding the approach of spring, our traditional, non-calorific stone eggs are joined by seasonal mugs, botanical cards, and a totally new product–nesting tubes for attracting red mason bees to the garden. XXXIV International University Congress UNIV 2001

I would like to inform university students about the International University Congress UNIV 2001, Roma 9–10 April, organised by ICU (Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria, www.icu.it/univ). The title of the congress this year is `In Search of Human Globalization'. University students from all over the world can participate working on a selected theme in groups, co-ordinated by a University professor or researcher, and present their findings in the form of a written essay, a poster or an audio-visual presentation. The Bookshop down the Lane

Oxford University Newcomers Club

This club exists to welcome to Oxford the partners and families of academic visitors, and graduate students. Come along to the Club Room at 13 Norham Gardens any Wed. morning between 10.30 a.m. and 12 noon, from the week before term starts to the week after term, and throughout the summer vacation, and sample our programme of events and outings.
