GREEN COLLEGE

Robert Turner Visiting Scholarship

Green College invites applications from postgraduate physicians or scientists, visiting from abroad, who wish to further their experience in diabetes in Oxford. The scholarship can be held for between one and three terms and will cover the cost of the college's membership fee. Visiting Scholars will become temporary members of Green College, be granted common-room rights, and be able to join in college social and cultural activities. Meals will be taken on a `pay as you go' basis. The Visiting Scholars will be eligible to apply for rooms in college, if available, on payment of the appropriate fees. Individuals applying for the scholarship must have been accepted for a position with a University of Oxford diabetes research group.

Applications, providing a curriculum vitae, a brief outline of proposed research, and a letter indicating why the applicant would benefit from this scholarship, should be sent to Jan Dean, the Warden's Office, Green College, Woodstock Road, Oxford OX2 6HG (e-mail: jan.dean@ green.ox.ac.uk). Closing date: 21 May.
