Oxford University Museum Shop

Volunteers Needed for HIV Vaccine Study

Would you be willing to assist with a Clinical Study aimed at developing a vaccine against HIV, the AIDS virus? Once final approval has been obtained from the Medicines Control Agency and the Central Oxford Research Ethics Committee, the trial will start and each participant will be immunised two or three times with the vaccine over a six week period. Volunteers should be healthy, aged 18–60 years, without any previous reactions to a vaccination, not at risk of HIV infection, and should be available for follow-up studies for at least seven months.
