1 Decree

Council has made the following decree, to come into effect on 16 June.

Decree (1): Intellectual Property Policy

Explanatory note

No notice of opposition having been given, Mr Vice-Chancellor will declare carried, without holding the meeting of Congregation on 6 June, the Statute revising the University's Intellectual Property Policy, which was promulgated on 14 December and amended on 23 May (see `University Agenda' below). Council has accordingly made the following decree, which gives effect to consequential changes; the text of the decree is the amended version of the text published last Michaelmas Term, as set out in Gazette, pp. 1116--17.

2 Status of Master of Arts

Mr Vice-Chancellor reports that the status of Master of Arts under the provisions of Ch. V, Sect. v, cl. 1 (Statutes, 1997, p. 367) has been accorded to the following persons who are qualified for membership of Congregation:
