The British School at Rome invites applications for the Balsdon Fellowship (funded by bequest of the late Dr J.P.V.D. Balsdon). The fellowship is for senior scholars aged over thirty-five who are engaged in research in the archaeology, art history, history, or literature of Italy. Applicants must be graduates of a British or Commonwealth university.

The fellowship is for three months. Free board and accommodation at the British School are provided, and an honorarium of £650.
