Bursary details
Citi is a leader in all aspects of financial services from stockbrokerage to research analysis, from investment banking to technology. The Citi Foundation, the charitable arm of Citi, is designed to help students from specific academic disciplines receive further funding to support their studies. Citi offers Citi Foundation bursary holders the opportunity to be mentored by a Citi employee and provides a valuable insight into the financial services industry.
The Citi Foundation Bursary is one of the Enhanced Bursaries offered by the University of Oxford in conjunction with external sponsors. The bursaries offer additional financial assistance along with contact with major organisations to Oxford Opportunity Bursary holders.
PLEASE NOTE CITI FOUNDATION BURSARIES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO NEW APPLICANTS BUT WILL CONTINUE FOR EXISTING HOLDERS.
Eligibility
Applications were open to students who were in their first year of study and in receipt of an Oxford Opportunity Bursary. The scheme closed to new entrants after 2010 entry.
Award
£1,000 award per annum for the usual length of the course made on the grounds of academic ability and interest in the related field of the organisation.
Thirteen awards were made in 2010/11.
