Inger Lawrance Awards
The Inger Lawrance Awards were established in 2010 ‘to promote the study and practice of, and the visual response to, form, construction and colour in the visual arts and art history.’ The awards are available to two first year graduate students each year, one each respectively in the History of Art Department and in the Ruskin School of Drawing, and are tenable for one year only.
| Value: | £1,500 |
| Deadline: | No special application required |
| How to apply: |
There is no need to submit a special application. Successful applicants for places to study for graduate degrees in Art History and Fine Art will automatically be considered for these awards. Applicants will be considered for the award by the Committee for the Inger Lawrance Awards, following acceptance for admission to a relevant graduate course of study. The Committee comprises representatives of the Art History Department and the Ruskin School. Bearing in mind the aim ‘to promote the study and practice of, and the visual response to, form, construction and colour in the visual arts and art history’, the Committee will make the awards to two outstanding new graduates each year.
