Am I getting the support I am eligible for?

Home students

If you are a Home student, you should ensure that you are in receipt of all financial help that is available to you through your funding body and the Student Loans Company. This can include the following:

  • Tuition fee loan
  • Maintenance Loan
  • Maintenance grant, or
  • Special support grant
  • Supplementary grants for certain students towards living costs, for which you are eligible because of your particular circumstances such as a Childcare Grant, Disabled Student's Grant, Adult Dependant's Grant and Parent's Learning Allowance

In addition, all Home students should also check whether they are eligible to receive an Oxford Opportunity Bursary. If you are a Home undergraduate or PGCE student who entered University from September 2006 onwards you may be entitled to receive a University bursary if you are in receipt of maintenance support from the UK government, you have been financially assessed and your household income is under a certain threshold. EU students

If you're an undergraduate student from another EU country, you may be eligible to apply for financial help towards the costs of studying in England, Northern Ireland or Wales. Help may also be available if you’re a migrant worker from an EEA (European Economic Area) country or Switzerland, or if you’re the child of a Turkish worker in the UK.
