Living costs and support
The University estimates that basic term time living costs for students in 2013/14 will be £7,900. Students from outside the UK must also take into account the additional cost of where they live during the vacations which could include the cost of travelling home or paying additional rent to remain in Oxford.
The University has generous bursaries available to cover some of the costs associated with living in Oxford, and also enable students to take advantage of the many opportunities Oxford has to offer.
Full-time UK and EU students who started their course in 2013/14 and have a household income of £42,611 or less are eligible to be assessed for a non-repayable Oxford Bursary.

EU students are generally not eligible for government grants and loans to help with the cost of living whilst at University although there are some exceptions. Students must ensure therefore that they have enough funding for their living costs at Oxford from other sources, and may be asked to provide evidence of this before they take up their place.
Household income assessment
Students from the EU must complete a household income assessment via the Student Finance Services Non UK Team in order to be considered for any support from the University. No other household income assessment will be accepted under any circumstances.
