In 1965 the University accepted a bequest from Dr J S Prendergast intended to assist monks from Glenstal Abbey to study at St Benet's and to help Irish students continue their studies at Oxford. The Bequest does not provide full scholarships for study at the University, but, in general, is used to support students in need of smaller sums for maintenance and for specific projects.

Please note that the Prendergast Bequest will not make any awards for 2012-13. This webpage  will be updated with further information in the future.
