Oxford Graduate Scholarships

The Oxford Graduate Scholarships were established in 2012 through a groundbreaking fundraising initiative, and offers up to 130 new, fully-funded scholarships for graduate students of the highest calibre from across the world. The University contributes 40% of the funds for these scholarships, together with 60% from generous donations provided by numerous supporters of the University and its colleges.

We believe that access to study at Oxford should be dependent on a student’s academic ability, not on their personal financial means. The Oxford Graduate Scholarships Matched Fund will help us towards this aim, and ensure that the world’s best students are able to study at Oxford.

The very first Oxford Graduate Scholars will begin their studies in 2013-14. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who have demonstrated excellent academic ability, who will contribute to the University’s ground-breaking research, and who will go on to contribute to the world as leaders in their field, pushing the frontiers of knowledge. You can find a full list of these scholarships below, with links to further details on the specific eligibility criteria for each scholarship.

All eligible applicants who have applied to the University by the relevant January deadline for their course  (10 January 2014 for Medical Sciences, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations and Computer Science; 24 January 2014 for all other subjects), will automatically be considered for the Oxford Graduate Scholarships.
