This symposium will explore the link between the weather and our emotions from the perspective of artists, neuroscientists and literature scholars, with talks from Donna Han, an award winning artist; Dr Erin Lafford, whose work looks at atmospherics in 18th and 19th century literature; and Dr Alexander Kaltenboeck, who studies neuro-cognitive models of mood disorders.

Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the afternoon, and a drinks reception will be held at the end of the symposium.

The symposium is free and open to all. We welcome undergraduates, post-graduates, parents, academics, scientist, artists and anyone with an interest in creativity and the brain.
