The conference celebrates the arrival of manuscripts from the collection of Jesuit Matteo Luigi Canonici in Venice.

In order to stimulate interdisciplinary research, various topics will be discussed by international scholars in provenance and history of libraries, music, liturgy, Italian and humanistic literature, medical texts, Greek, Hebrew and French manuscripts, palaeography and manuscript illumination.
