When ancestors’ teachings and tribal beliefs on medicines make their way to 2018

A photo exhibition that will illustrate lifestyles and medical treatments of rural villagers – a blend of “traditional” and “modern” medicine, its evolution, and underlying conceptions – through a lens and stories from social researchers after completing over 2,400 interviews in 72 villages in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand. Impressions from the research project "Antibiotic and Activity Spaces," University of Oxford.
