STORIES (Students' Ongoing Research in Education Studies) is an annual two-day conference for graduate students and educational practitioners held at the Oxford University Department of Education.
Rapid technological advancements have spurred changes to daily life that encourage us to re-think our understanding of skills, knowledge, and what it means to learn in the 21st century. Or do they? In light of these developments and related questions, the theme of this year’s conference is Technology Matters: The Use of Technology in Education and Research. We invite conference participants to engage with implications and applications of technology as manifested in areas of learning, education, and educational research.
Educational practitioners and graduate students across all disciplines and at all stages of research are invited to attend. We encourage conference participants to think creatively and critically in order to foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and welcome both theoretical and empirical submissions. The conference will consist of parallel sessions of 15 min. student presentations + 5 min. Q&A. Posters will be presented during scheduled sessions and coffee breaks.
